The course “Peels for Different Skin Types” is designed for those who want to work with skin professionally, knowledgeably, and safely.

To give you fundamental knowledge about the effects of acids and the proper selection of peels.
To teach you to perform procedures confidently – with a full understanding of each step.

COURSE PROGRAM:

  1. Introduction to Peels
    • History and evolution of peels
    • Mechanisms of acid action on the skin
    • Indications and contraindications for the procedure
  2. Classification of Peels
    • By depth of action: superficial, medium, deep
    • By type of active ingredients
  3. Skin Types and Choosing the Right Peel
    • Identifying skin type (normal, dry, oily, combination, sensitive)
    • Collecting anamnesis and creating a treatment plan
  4. Peels for Each Skin Type
    • Normal skin: gentle maintenance peels
    • Dry/sensitive skin: mild and hydrating formulas
    • Oily/combination skin: sebum regulation, pore treatment
    • Problematic skin: acne, post-acne, pigmentation
    • Mature skin: renewal stimulation, wrinkle reduction
  5. Acids and Their Properties
    • Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA): glycolic, lactic, mandelic
    • Beta hydroxy acids (BHA): salicylic acid
    • Polyhydroxy acids (PHA): gluconolactone, lactobionic acid
    • Combined peels: Jessner, retinoid complexes
  6. Working with Complications
    • Normal skin reactions: peeling, erythema
    • Possible complications: burns, hyperpigmentation, allergic reactions
